Happy Earth Day

Happy Earth Day Everyone! Take this day to remind yourself and celebrate how incredible and unique our global home is and take courage and motivation in the fact that if we act now we can make a difference. Traditionally on Earth Day I'm not interested in drowning people in facts or hints and tips, but would rather encourage you to switch off, turn off and get outside (yes, in all weathers!) and simply enjoy!

And because laughter is also good for the soul, below are some Earth Day cartoons I particularly like:

by Andy Singer
Andy Singer is the cartoonist for Carbuster Magazine, which is a wealth of information for the grassroots global carfree movement. Their aim is to be a source of information and a call to action against the car and oil industries.

The following cartoons I came across thanks to The Daily Green.

Arctic Circle by Alex Hallatt, dist. by Kings Feature Syndicate

The Pajama Diaries by Terri Libenson dist. by Kings Feature Syndicate
