Reminder: Moving Planet March

Its exactly 24 days until 350.org's Moving Planet march, which is a day to move beyond fossil fuels; a worldwide rally to demand solutions to the climate crisis. (To read my previous blog post about Moving Planet please CLICK HERE.) Once again, I'll let the visuals do the talking (I do love 350.org's videos, I must say).

Come on bike, on skates, on a board, or just on foot on Saturday September 24th 2011.

For those in Edinburgh

Where? Edinburgh. From City Chambers (High St/Royal Mile) to Holyrood.

When? Saturday 24th September. Assemble at 11:30 for a 12:00 start and the event is expected to be finished by about 13:30-14:00 after speeches.

What? 350.org is all about connecting the global to the local, so in Edinburgh we'll be highlighting a local problem that has global implications - the proposed Forth Energy biomass plant at Leith Docks.

The event coincides with the ‘world car-free day’ and also aims to put pressure on our global leaders in advance of the UN Climate Summit in Durban, South Africa, at the end of November

We'd appreciate if you could help spread the word. Here's the facebook page

As always please help by speaking the word!

See you there :)
