Today (October 15th 2014) MEPs protested peacefully outside the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership's (known as TTIP) 'Reading Room' in the European Parliament to highlight the huge lack of transparency the current TTIP negotiations have; see photos below.  

We should be encouraged that MEPs are doing this but also terrified that those elected to represent us are not allowed to participate; that is not democracy.
